I’m a blogging correspondent for Chicago Ideas Week! CIW brings some of the most revolutionary minds from around the globe to talk about important topics like the economy, art, cities and education in the vibrant city of Chicago. This summer I helped coordinate the CIW labs program. Labs provide in-depth tours of some of the most innovative businesses in Chicagoland. I’m looking forward to going back to see some of the fruits of my labor and to cover CIW talks, which bring together diverse panels of experts to discuss broad topics at a deeper level. Here are the talks and labs I’ll be covering:

We’re waiting to hear back on a social coverage request. Cross your fingers for me! I’ll be covering these events on my personal blog, Twitter and Facebook pages and CIW will be re-sharing the content I produce (yay, blogging cred!). Some posts may also be published on the official CIW blog, The Ideasphere. If any of these topics seem super relevant and interesting to you, I would love to hear some of your thoughts. (Especially anyone with something to say about sports, because we all know that I haven’t thought critically about sports since quitting the JV soccer team freshman year of high school.) Look out for more Chicago Ideas Week posts soon!
