Golden Cap, Saison Ale
Bridgett: Too heavy and too sweet. I think someone said that about me when I tried out for the play in eighth grade.
Mike: Back of bottle: “Brewed with wheat’s ancestor, Spelt” I thought Spelt was a fish, and I still drank it. Louis CK probably has a joke about this.
Hoppy/Bitter (1 not hoppy - 5 very hoppy): 1
Malty (Sweet and Full-Bodied) (1 dry - 5 sweet): 4
Drinkability (1 drinks heavy - 5 drinks like water ): 2
Overall: 3
5 Vulture, Oaxacan Style Dark Ale
Bridgett: Does everything taste better when you roast it? Because these hops do. And so do marshmellows…
Mike: Tastes a little too much like roasted coffee. Like someone left a marshmellow in the fire too long.
Hoppy/Bitter (1 not hoppy - 5 very hoppy): 4
Malty (Sweet and Full-Bodied) (1 dry - 5 sweet): 2
Drinkability (1 drinks heavy - 5 drinks like water ): 1
Overall: 3
Photo 1: Mike wanted to pretend the labels were flags.
Photo 2: Tall, dark and hoppy.
Photo 3: You don’t know me. Maybe I had jaw surgery. Feel guilty.

At first I thought that 1 not hoppy - 5 very hoppy (for example) meant that one of the six beers was not hoppy. And I was astounded that you guys could pick out the dud and rate the beers accordingly. Because that’s strange.
