Don’t you feel like an asshole when someone asks you what kind of beer you want to drink and PBR is not one of the options? You don’t know what good beer is. You’re in your early 20s. You just want it to have alcohol in it.
Have no fear! You need not investigate further into what types of beer your virgin palette might enjoy - my good friend Michael and I will gladly carry that yolk for you.
In an ode to Sandwich Mondays, the only food critics I actually listen to, we bring you Beer Tuesdays. We are joined tonight by twelve different beers, from different origins, different tastes and different ABVs. By the end of this web series, you should have a better idea of what to say when all eyes are on you at a hipster craft beer bar and the only things they’re pouring are home brews. Or we’ll be drunk and forget to update this site - the suspense starts now!
What makes us so smart about all this stuff? Approximately nothing. I worked at a brewery for two years but I was underage the whole time and never got to do much beer drinking, and Mike has already finished his first beer as I write this, so he brings the charisma. And we skimmed this website someone wrote about tasting beer.
So go ahead, bookmark this shit and try some of these beers. We don’t know what we’re doing, but we’re hoping that you don’t either. Beer Tuesdays Part 2: Lagunitas’ Czech Style Pilsner and Bell’s Amber AleBeer Tuesdays Part 3: Two Brother’s Brewing Company’s Ebel’s Weiss and O’Fallen’s Pumpkin BeerBeer Tuesdays Part 4: Golden Cap’s Saison Ale and 5 Vulture’s Oaxacan Style Dark AleBeer Tuesdays Part 5: Great Lakes Brewing Company’s Edmund Fitzgerald and Breckenridge Brewery’s Vanilla Porter
